There will be other duties asassigned.Position Specific Essential Duties Class DescriptionThe purpose of this class is serve as an advocate for the College,the ECAP programs and its students.Compensation within the posted range is determined by acandidate’s education level and/or years of experience in thefield. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of thescale .Minimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, PublicAdministration or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.Experience in Admissions or Student Services working with diversestudent populations is preferred. Prior experience working withhigh school students is preferred. Must have a valid driver’slicense in good standing with violation points less than five(5).For best consideration please apply by January 3,2021.Class Specific Essential Duties Provide outstanding service to students and other internal andexternal customers.Work closely with external partners to see that qualifiedstudents are enrolled to meet specific goals.Assist the Director with developing, implementing, andevaluating a comprehensive recruitment and enrollment plan forcurrent high school students, which satisfies the College’s shortand long term enrollment goals.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with localschool systems and other external agencies.Present to and meet with potential students and parents todiscuss opportunities available within ECAP.Coordinate with appropriate partners to maintain data on theoverall progress of students participating in Early Collegeprograms.Coordinate with appropriate partners to conduct information andorientation programs for prospective and current students; classregistrations; field trips and site visits.Maintain accurate records on recruitment, retention, andsuccess efforts and assist the Director with the compilation ofdata related to the effectiveness of efforts and initiatives.Collaborate with the Director of ECAP and Office of Instructionon the creation and implementation of a comprehensiveinduction/orientation for college instructors who will teach theEarly College courses on and off site.Communicate regularly with students to promote the transitionfrom ECAP to core following high school graduation.Work independently within a team on special and ongoingprojects.Assist the Director with program development and strategicplanning, and monitor priorities and progress towards theDepartment’s goals.Essential Job Duties are intended to be examples of duties and arenot intended to be all inclusive.
